How do you verify the information you publish?
We believe transparency only becomes meaningful when information can be supported and verified. Information published by Making of the Season is based on direct communication with makers, suppliers, production partners, certifications, technical documentation, site visits, and internal research. Whenever possible, information is cross-checked through multiple sources before being included in our Object Passports, journal, or traceability documentation. Not all information can be verified to the same level. Where uncertainty, limitations, or incomplete visibility exist, we aim to communicate this openly rather than present assumptions as facts. Our goal is not to claim perfect knowledge of every stage of a supply chain, but to share information as accurately, responsibly, and transparently as possible.
