Why ‘Making of the Season’?

At Making of the Season, making is central. In a time when there is less and less attention for the process of making, we deliberately return to its essence. Making is the heart of our craft: it forms the foundation of our objects and brings our original inspiration to life through materials, hands, and time. We give attention to craftsmanship: to the thoughts and intention of our makers, and to how ideas take shape through care, experimentation, and response. It is a continuous, living process that we cherish and choose to make visible.

A season is a chapter in our story. It shows how we develop, how we move and act within a certain period of time. Each season highlights a different side of who we are. Together, these seasons form a continuous story that evolves over time and gradually deepens our world. Our name unites everything we do: our attitude, our way of working and our ever-changing character. Making of the Season captures our essence: a continuous process of making, told through seasons. Our name is therefore both a statement and an invitation: to take part in the process and to grow along with the story as it continues to unfold. Because making, for us, is never truly finished.
